For two decades I have watched people waste time and money on having a coach or mentor.
The process fails when the student isn’t prepared for the reality of what they are paying for. As in all things the success of a process is seeing pre determined outcomes achieved.
So the first point of reference is what where those outcomes and are you realistically moving towards them. In real life there are no participation certificates.
The second fail point is are you prepared to change? If you want a different outcome expect the requirement of attitude and action modifications , if your not ready for this all the talkfest sin the world won’t impact.
A lot of people go into coaching expecting magic and to be fair many coaches offer magic as part of their recruitment strategy, don’t buy it, its more about you than them.
Next time we look at other fail points and how to make your coaching fruitful
